Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

When you sign in with Google

• Your Google account name and email address
• Your Google profile picture (if available), shown only to you in the app

We receive this from Google when you choose to sign in. We never see your Google password.

When you use the assistant

• Conversations: the questions you ask, the answers you select, and the recommendations shown to you. For signed-in users these are saved so your history is available when you return. For guests, they are kept only while your guest session is active and then expire.
• Technical data: your IP address and basic request data, used strictly for security, rate limiting and preventing abuse.

We do not collect

• Contact books, photos, files, location history or contacts from your device
• Payment information — we never ask for it

2. How we use it

• To provide the service: answer your questions and remember your conversations
• To keep the service safe: rate limiting and abuse prevention
• To improve recommendations in aggregate — we study what people ask, not who you are

3. What we don't do

• We don't sell your personal data — to anyone, ever
• We don't use your data for advertising
• We don't email you marketing you didn't ask for

4. Third parties

• Google Sign-In (Google Identity Services): handles the sign-in flow. Google's own privacy policy applies to your Google account.
• Google Fonts: page typefaces are loaded from Google's font servers, which receive your IP address as part of any web request.

No other third parties receive your personal data.

5. Data retention & deletion

We retain your personal data for up to 6 months. Guest session data expires automatically when your guest session ends. You can ask us to delete your account and all associated data at any time — email support@daamokay.com and we'll confirm once it's done.

6. Security

Data is stored on secured servers with access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat your data the way we'd want ours treated.

7. Children

daamokay is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their personal data.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we'll update this page with a new “last updated” date. Material changes will be flagged in the app.
